These summer programmes offer the unique chance to explore the fascinating world of particle physics through lectures, on-site visits, hands-on workshops, and ample opportunities to interact with CERN\u2019s scientific community. The programmes will be delivered entirely in English and are open for participants from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For teachers: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The annual 3-week International <a href=\"http:\/\/teacher-programmes.web.cern.ch\/itp\/hst\">High School Teacher (HST) Programme<\/a> will be on 1-21 July 2018, while the <a href=\"http:\/\/teacher-programmes.web.cern.ch\/itp\/itw\">International Teacher Weeks (ITW) Programme<\/a> will take place on 5-18 August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers can find out more and apply via the <a href=\"http:\/\/teacher-programmes.web.cern.ch\/\">CERN Teacher Programmes website<\/a> until 13 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For high-school students aged 16 and above: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the great success of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cds.cern.ch\/record\/2282286\">first summer camp 2017<\/a>, the S\u2019Cool LAB team will organise the second <a href=\"https:\/\/scool.web.cern.ch\/content\/about-programme\">S\u2019Cool LAB Summer CAMP<\/a> from 24 July to 4 August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Students can find out more and apply via the <a href=\"http:\/\/scool.web.cern.ch\/content\/scool-lab-summer-camp\">CERN S\u2019Cool LAB website <\/a>until 5 February 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summer programmes for high-school students and teachers In summer 2018, CERN will offer several residential programmes for high-school students and their&nbsp;teachers.
